Philanthropy

We are proud supporters of our communities along with many organizations including:

Henry’s House

Henry’s House is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to empowering those with special gifts to attain the independent living needs they want and can achieve through the acquisition, development, and building of safe sensory orientated focused assisted living homes and a community that promotes individuality. The organization’s prime goals are:

  • To buy, build, and maintain homes for adults with sensory orientate and special needs living requirements.
  • To ensure these homes are safe and secure as well as allow for community interaction and association.
  • To provide transportation to ensure the community residents have the opportunities to work and enjoy the surrounding community.

Silent Warrior Project

The Silent Warrior Project is a non-profit organization that serves veterans who struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Founded in 2016, we host spiritual retreats for veterans and provide tools to help them reduce stress through a daily practice of mindfulness meditation and contemplative prayer. By helping veterans fully re-engage in their lives and be present with their loved ones, we can bring about hope. And healing.

We seek to be the best resource for veterans with PTSD and MST and their families by educating, speaking truth and leading change.

Special Olympics Polar Plunge (Mound, MN)

Every year, thousands of people jump into freezing cold water to support Special Olympics Minnesota. By plunging with us, they help bring opportunity and inclusion to over 8,100 Special Olympics athletes across the entire state of Minnesota.

Folds of Honor

Of the one million-plus dependents adversely affected by deployments, nearly 9 out of 10 do not qualify for federal scholarship assistance. Since 2007, Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission. To close the gap, providing educational support to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.

WeCan

WeCan serves individuals and families in need in Western Hennepin County. We are a community nonprofit that empowers and equips individuals and families to reach stability and self-sufficiency.

Veterans Yoga Project

Veterans Yoga Project is on a mission to support recovery and resilience among our veterans, families, and communities. Working in partnership with veterans, active-duty military personnel, student veterans’ organizations, and other non-profit organizations, VYP-trained instructors teach over 100 free yoga classes each week for veterans and their families. By providing support to all veterans, whether they are currently struggling with severe symptoms, or they are focused on increasing resilience and giving back to others, Veterans Yoga Project is doing its part to serve those who have served.
